Hello! We are a family of three from Connecticut but my husband grew up in Springfield, MO so it was neat to see your adoption page . . . We adopted our daughter Madelyn from Hunan province, China, in January 2005. Her proud grandparents live in Springfield, MO! Madelyn is a doll and has done great in her almost two years here. She will turn 3 years old on Thanksgiving Day (and boy, are we thankful!). We are currently LID April 2006 for our second daughter. All our best to you as you wait. I could write a novel about how your life seems to parallel my own...from the Southern Baptist/Italian Catholic combo to the heartache of infertility. Our paths led us in different directions toward our children, but I'm thrilled that we both found our miracles. We have now 2-year old triplets from our 3rd IVF (after 5 years of other infertility treatments and meds and losses). We had also begun the adoption process (Ukraine) just before deciding to do that last round of IVF...thinking that since we always wanted a large family, our hearts were leading us to adoption regardless of the outcome of that final cycle. Of course, having triplets changed that a bit. I adore our children. Actually...adore isn't strong enough. You already know what I'm talking about. There is a magic that defies description when you meet your child. I do, though, still feel sad about the child we won't have from those Ukranian orphanages we saw in photos. Our facilitator had sent countless pictures of some of the children who had successfully been adopted by her clients. Those faces leapt into my heart and I think of them often...even now. I also have a dear friend who adopted a daughter from China. Her daughter and my daughter share a name. We feel so blessed to have them. Your family is beautiful. Becca is precious. And I am so thankful that God brought you together...just as I am grateful that he brought my miracles to me. Angie, your parents are friends our ours. We love them and get teary-eyed hearing them talk about their granddaughter, Becca. We can't wait to meet you. Monica Tritto

Dear Angie and Victor, What a wonderful experience it has been (and continues to be) to share in your journey to Becca and then your first days as parents. It is so wonderful that you have taken the time to do this, and I want to thank you so very much. It's almost like being there with you. We have learned so much about the country our precious little niece was born in, and I know that one day she will love sharing this journey with you through your writings and pictures. She is such a blessing and an answer to so many prayers. I know for our Jordan, she is living proof that God answers our prayers. When she began her faith journey with you over 4 years ago, she was such a little thing but so perceptive in realizing that you two would make wonderful parents, and so she has prayed continuously all these years for Becca. She knows now that Becca is the answer to her prayer, even though she began thinking in terms of Angie bearing a child. What a wonderful journey in her faith to see that God answers our prayers and not always in the way we perceive it will be. Marion and I want to see her and hold her, but we are so happy and grateful that Carol and Tony will be there when you arrive home. They have waited for this child for so long, too, as I'm sure Norma and Bobby have. What blessings are in store for Becca with such loving grandparents who can't wait to see her and hold her and love her, in addition to having you two already. It is evident in her eyes that she already considers you the best parents a child could ever have, and I know you feel like the most blessed couple on earth right now. Angie, you just glow all over! That feeling will only grow as you watch her grow and share your lives with her. She IS the most beautiful of all the children in your group, I know, and I've not even seen the others. In fact, she is just a rare beauty who will stand out in any group. Dear Angie and Victor and precious Becca! You are a beautiful family and we have enjoyed following your story from the very beginnning. I'll never forget when Drew and Jordan came home from playing "pink belly" with Victor and wanted to know when you guys were having your own kid to play "pink belly" with.
