Well today is a much better day! I think I had gone too long without food, was tired and too hot. I'm feeling much better after a good night's sleep.

We went down to the breakfast buffet and it's totally different than the one in Nanchang. I ate spicy noodles and watermelon for breakfast for almost a whole week. Today, though...french toast!!!!!! It was wonderful. After breakfast we all had to go have pictures made for the babies' visas. After that, we went to have the medicals done. Gracie breezed through the medical. They squeaked a toy at each side of her head and she looked in that direction... so she can hear great! They checked her ears, took her temperature and checked her lungs, etc. She weighed in at 17.5 pounds and 28.5 inches long. She is the oldest in our group of babies but not the biggest. She is the only one who can crawl though.

After we cleared the medical, the shopping began! The first shop we went to was overpriced so we passed. We've visited a lot of the shops I've heard about and have gotten a few things for Gracie. I found some great deals on DVDs for the family. Rodney bought some sort of musical instrument that has sort of a bag pipe sound. We had lunch at Lucy's and then our guide took Rodney and a couple of other men to a local fishing store. Rodney had fun checking things out. Gracie and I stayed in the room and she napped. Later I had to go to Cindy's room to do our INS paperwork.

Our group went to the Cow & Bridge, a Thai restaurant, for dinner and then we strolled and shoppped some more. We were out late and totally exhausted when we got back.

Gracie continues to do great and she's showing more of her personality (and temper!) every day. Today she ate oatmeal for breakfast, mashed potatoes for lunch and chicken congee for dinner. Everyone here is amazed that she wears something in her hair everyday. Cindy, our guide, always checks Gracie out every morning to see what outfit she's sporting. Today she asked how many bows I had for Gracie and told her she didn't want to know!

We miss home and especially our boys!

Love from China,
Angel, Rodney and Gracie
