Today our guides took us to a local park. It reminded us of a
botanical garden. Kristy got so many beautiful pictures,
especially of the flowers. I plan to enlarge some of them and
frame for Maggie's room.
While there Maggie was not happy. I had to carry her the entire
time. And just as we suspected, when we returned to the room she
lit up and started to smile and laugh. She just doesn't like
unfamiliar places and crowds. Of course, we had to wake her up
at 9am and she was not happy about it, so this may have played a
part in her disposition.
We are getting to the point where we are wanting to go home. We
miss our families, our soft beds and real chocolate! But not
Starbucks...we visit more here than back at home!
Tonight we plan to go back to the island and shop a little and
maybe have dinner at Lucy's. I have heard so much about this
restaurant that I feel like I can't leave without going there.
