Trip to China

Wednesday, April 9, 2008 GIRLY GIRL DAY! Today we finished our shopping, gave ourselves pedicures and plan to hot iron our hair later in the day. Maggie is also sporting her very first pony tail. Kristy says that I have turned her into a girly girl. Maggie already is, so I have not had to not had to force any of it onto her. Some Maggie tidbits~ ~She is a little night owl. She comes alive around 8pm and truly gets a little wild. By the time we can get her bathed and settled, she doesn't go down until 9:30 or so. And she usually sleeps in...Mitchell, she loves your schedule I guess. ~She loves rice and noodles and can eat either one at any meal. Jeff, stock up on Ramen noodles! ~She has begun to want Kristy at times over me, so I am not sure where we are with bonding at this point. I am trying to not stress over it because Kristy won't be around all the time when we are home, but I have asked Kristy to stop giving her anything to eat and to let me hold her. This is so hard because I don't want to hurt Kristy's feelings. If Jeff was here, it would be ok for her to want her Daddy, but with another woman it is different. ~Everyone comments on what a sweet disposition she has (most of them haven't had the chance to witness her evening antics). Tonight we are going our with our group to a local Thai restaurant and tomorrow we have our consulate appointment and red couch photos. I will be sure to post pictures afterwards. We are counting the days to come home. We are not sure how we are going to get all of this home, but we will...we must! Love to all~ Denise
