Hi all,
Today was a bonding day with Annabel. We only had one activity,
which was to confirm all the paperwork with the Changsha Civil
Affairs office and officially accept Annabel as our daughter.
The Holt staff gave us an additional print of the official foot
print on file with the Chinese government. They have been really
efficient with all the documents we have to process and fill
out. We have included a few photos of us signing the paperwork
and closing out the document exchange.
It was a difficult day as Annabel would sometimes cry for
reasons we just can't understand. It's difficult for us to tell
what she needs and what her daily routine should be despite the
detail we have received in the documents. It's one of the most
frustrating days as we are trying to understand her needs and
she is also missing her Foster family.
Mia spent some time bonding with Annabel and they are getting
along just fine. Mia makes Annabel smile and laugh and has
certainly helped in the transition for Annabel. We have included
a picture of Mia and Annabel in their "Mei Mei" (little sister)
and "Jie Jie" (big sister) shirts.
